The 45-year-old haven of cheap beer and great tunes is adorned with loads of boxing history, and its jukebox is stacked with Stax classics, R&B, pop and soul. Leggi tutto
Ggreat location next to the time square. If you would like to meet locals.. thats a great opportunity. Great beers for less money in a special location.
"That glass of wine will be $4." You mean free? Love this place. Casual atmosphere, boxing memorabilia, friendly staff and I may have mentioned the cheap drinks. I can see why reporters like it.
Grub St: Jimmy’s is that rare New York bar that cannot be oversold. It’s cheap, the jukebox is excellent, and among the many wall decorations is a sign reading “Let’s not talk politics here.”
Top shelf drinks are painfully inexpensive here. It's a total locals spot in the middle of times sq. Bring $1's for the juke box & remember to tip your servers well
best barstaff run by queen bee Swanne and more Louis Jordan and killer soul songs on the jukebox than you'll hear anywhere else in NYC ..run by King Bee Jimmy and that's the way it should be. Dig it!
This place is a classic, impossibly narrow New York bar and one of the few places that remain from pretransformation Times Square. Boxing posters and Christmas lights: a perfect place." Leggi tutto
Um excelente te lugar muito perto da Time Square! Chopp artesanal a 4 dólares e excelentes drinks por um preço justo, numa das melhores localidades de NY!
A legit dive. Cheap drinks. Old school boxing decor everywhere. Sanctuary near the Times Square shit storm. Very narrow and gets crowded so be prepared to suck that gut in when entering!
One of the few places near Times Square NOT packed with tourists, escape the commotion and if you’re lucky Jimmy himself might be around to make you a signature Hurricane.
This place is weirdly in Times Square. It can be very packed and loud before shows start but then it's quite nice. No food but cheap drinks and lots of fun boxing photos and drawings on the walls.
Actually it is kind of unreal right by TS.. I mean its so outta place but damn awesome in the sametime.. Dirt cheap and friendly staff. Not even 10 sandy's would close down this biz ahah!
One of the only bars for real people near Times Square. Owned and operated by legendary boxing trainer Jimmy Glenn, a must-stop for fight fans in the City.
This is the only place in the area NOT packed with tourists. Casuallocal dive bar- smaller with more seats in the back. Good for small groups, not recommended for bar hoppers
It's a nice quaint bar with great customer service. The owner Jimmy Glen was actually there too. He's a Famous former Boxer & Trainer, Very Nice man. We took pics with him. The bar is filmed with 1000
